An Albanian chain of supermarkets seeks manufacturers and/ or supplier agreements of a selected food and non-food products for exclusive partnership

An Albanian chain of supermarkets are located in the biggest cities of Albania, mainly in Tirana, Durres and Fier. The company began to operate in retail sector in 2013. The company’s business activity is focused on sale of products categorised as dry food, fresh food, and non-food products.
The company seeks to be engaged in partnership with suppliers and/or manifactures from all over the world in order to become their exclusive representative in Albania.

The company began operations in the retail sector  since 2013. The Company’s business activity is operation of modern trade through “Express” format stores, with focus on market products categorised as dry food, fresh food, and non-food products, as well as non-market products as per local demand.

The company is operating, actively, through 13 stores in the areas of Tirana, Durrës and Fier, 10 of them are located in Tirana, 2 in Durrës and 1 in Fier.
The company manages a wide range of products, with an advanced category management approach, optimised through dedicated performance measurements on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Overall, the company trades 10.000 products in total in food and non food category.

Products which could be suitable are: dry or baking goods (pasta, biscuits, oatmeal, herbs oils and so on), alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages,  jarred products etc. Non Food products suitable are: containers for water, cooking items, soap etc. And the products which  are not suitable are: fresh product and diary goods.

The company is looking to offer a wider range of products in their supermarkets chain. They are looking for products  with high quality standards mainly produced in EU countries. The company seeks to collaborate with production or distribution companies mainly in the countries of Western Europe, but does not exclude any possibility from all over the world to consider for a co-operation opportunity.

The partner should  warrant that the products shall be:

  • conform to the technical and quality standard and specifications that will be discussed
  • be safe, of good quality and free from any defect in manufacturing or material,
  • correspond strictly with any and all representations, descriptions, advertisements, brochures, drawings, specifications and samples made or given by partner and agreed by client
